welcome - Edmonton Arts Council

Connections & Exchanges Initiative Grants

Deadline for Stage 1 submissions: August 1
Deadline for Stage 2 full proposals (if requested): October 1

Connections & Exchanges grants will invest in work by existing Edmonton Arts and Festival organizations towards initiatives that they identify, and that are linked to the Ambitions, Aims, and Actions outlined in Connections & Exchanges.

This is a one-time funding opportunity. Future support of organizations will develop as a result of the EAC's ongoing grant review, including community consultations and the design of an implementation plan for delivering on the vision and strategy of Connections & Exchanges.

Apply using our online system eacawards.fluidreview.com

Arts and Festival Organizations that are in recipt of EAC Operating Grants from the Arts Operating, Festival Operating, Festival Seed, Cornerstone, or Celebrations grants, and are in good standing, are eligible to apply.

In the spirit of reconciliation, and as outlined in Connections & Exchanges, Indigenous Peoples of this territory freely determine how to participate in Edmonton's arts and heritage sectors. Therefore, we will work in conjunction with Indigenous advisors to facilitate eligible applications from Indigenous organizations that have a focus on cultural practices, arts, and festival programming. Indigenous organizations that do not have a prior granting relationship with the EAC are invited to apply.

Applicants are encouraged to contact EAC Grants staff at grants@edmontonarts.ca or 780-424-2787 to discuss their applications or set up individual meetings at least two weeks prior to the deadline.
